Lot 1641:
Letter sent by a member of the British forces in Mozambique, FPO. No. 343 (October 1916), exempt from postage, but not exempt from war tax stamp. Sent to Dar-Es-Salaam, it was opened by the Censor, closed with a ribbon and with censor’s marks. A rarity among the British FPO.
