Lot 179:
Portugal. Postage. Illustrated postcard, sent from S. Martinho do Porto on 31 August 1916; in transit via Caldas da Rainha to Lourenço Marques. Sent without postage, it was postmarked with a handwritten T in Caldas, and then in Lisbon, where it passed through the Censorship. It was not postmarked in Lourenço Marques, possibly because it was a member of the Expeditionary Corps (who only benefited from exemption in correspondence sent by them).
