Lot 181:
Portugal Ceres. Printed matter sent from Lisbon on 28 September 1917, with a ¼ centavo postage, missing another ¼ to make up the ½ centavo postage. It was issued in 1 centavo, handwritten in blue on the front, and with a 1 Centavo stamp on the back, which became unusable on 1 October 1917. It was issued with the minimum postage postage of 1 centavo, as there were no ½ centavo postage stamps. MB and MR.
