Guinea, 1879/84 – Crown. Stamps of Cape Verde, with large “GUINEA” overprint. MF#14a, 40 reis, dark blue, medium plain paper, 13 ½ perforation. Complete sheet with 28 stamps, new, with original hinged gum on all stamps, repaired in some places and many stamps secured with hinges, in good colour. Very rare copy. Expertise certificate by J. Miranda da Mota. Catalogue value €11,200.
