Lot 217:
Airmail, transatlantic flight from PINEDO to Brazil with several stopovers, including Cape Verde. Letter written in Sesto Calende on 8 February 1927, transported in the Santa Maria airplane, piloted by Francisco Pinedo, on his flight to Brazil. The letter is signed by Pinedo, and was delivered in Cagliari on 11 February. Special commemorative envelope of the “Crociera Aérea dell’Atlantico/ Comandante De Pinedo”.
