Marcofilia. Cª de Moçambique. The Provisional Mark of Marromeu. Letter with a postage of 50 reis, a pair of stamps of 25 reis Elefantes, rendered useless by the 10/11 bar postmark used in Marromeu. It left for Conceição on 12.11.1895, at the mouth of the Zambezi River, which initially marked it as postmarked, postage cancelled in Lourenço Marques on 4.12, from where it left for England, 4.1.1896. The only one known. A postal station was only opened in Marromeu in June 1896. MR and MR.
