Lot 381:
Portugal 1912 – Ceres. MF206, ¼ c, dark sepia, ordinary porcelain paper, medium, perforated 15×14. Two horizontal pairs in illustrated postcard circulated as printed from Coimbra (31.05.12) to Leipzig / Germany, to pay the simple postage of a printed form (1c) for abroad weighing up to 50g in accordance with the postage table of the Decree of 31.12.1904, published in the DG No. 4 of 05.01.1905, in force from 01.03.05, with adjustment to the new currency. Stamps probably printed with the first acquisition of porcelain paper from Francisco Violante in January / February 1912. Copy without defects or repairs.
