Lot 56:
Postcards. Illustrated postcard, fish seller, printed postage of $25 All for the Nation, surcharge $50 and overhead, OM#125, sent from Lisbon on 16.11.1954 to Post Office Box 99, in Benguela. It was then sent to Bié, where it was handwritten with “Comarca de Silva Porto, Bié” and “Um abraço do Bastos”, before being forwarded to the Court of Appeal in Luanda. As the addressee could not be found, as “Unclaimed”, it was “returned to sender” in Lisbon.
